  • Rapid migration to urban areas leading to over population and unemployment.
  • Unemployment, over-dependency and high risk on internal crimes.
  • Collapse of the traditional institutions, since most local chiefs have been displaced from their ancestral homes.
  • Loss of internal family values: Many and different families now live in idp camps and many children are born and raised therein.
  • Increase in the number of idps, orphans, widows, and widowers.
  • Absence of farm activities for the fear of attacks and kidnapping.
  • Depletion of the population due to migration.
